Releases 7 November in Digital + Streaming.
Marking the one-year anniversary of Tarta Relena’s acclaimed album És Pregunta, Latency unveils a singular reinterpretation from Detroit electro visionary Gerald Donald under his legendary Dopplereffekt alias. A founding figure of modern electronic music, Donald has profoundly shaped the sonic and conceptual language of the genre through seminal projects such as Drexciya, Arpanet, Der Zyklus, and more.
The release follows a prolific year for Latency, with the release of Estradas Versions, a vibrant constellation of reworks expanding Nídia and Valentina Magaletti’s Estradas; Plunge, the debut album of experimental-jazz trio Flur; and Nexus, a new full-length by Iranian virtuoso percussionist Mohammad Reza Mortazavi.
